Mary Kills People showrunners set for WTTV on June 26

Co-showrunners Tassie Cameron and Marsha Greene will be taking the TIFF stage on June 26 in our next edition of Writers Talking TV to discuss their work on groundbreaking drama Mary Kills People.

A multiple Canadian Screen Awards nominee, Mary Kills People pulled off the seemingly impossible in presenting the issue of medically assisted suicide in the form of a dark comedy-drama that managed to meld tones and keep viewers engaged through a strong-willed, assured and conflicted — lead female character.

Moderator Noelle Carbone (writer Saving Hope, Coroner, Wynonna Earp) will be interviewing the pair about the creative process behind the head-turning series that pushed the question "How far is Mary willing to go for her cause?" and kept audiences engrossed for three seasons.

WTTV with Tassie Cameron (Rookie Blue, Flashpoint) and Marsha Greene (Private Eyes) takes place Wednesday, June 26 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at TIFF Bell Lightbox (350 King St. W., Toronto). The event is free and open to the public, but please RSVP to Shannon Bokowski ([email protected]) to secure a seat.
