nile

The Diversity Committee is pleased to announce 2021's first Script of the Month, Texas Troy. This half-hour single-camera comedy is created and written by Nile Séguin, who's written for The Beaverton, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, TallBoyz, The Hour, Killjoys, and most recently, The Hardy Boys (Hulu/Corus).

Texas Troy centres around the inventor of the first commercial teleportation device. He has his life turned upside down when a malfunction creates two versions of him who both become bent on keeping the life they see as theirs.

“I'm very excited to have Texas Troy selected for this month's Script of the Month," says Nile. "I wrote Texas Troy because it's the kind of show I would love to see, and I am very passionate about turning it into a limited series.”

Congratulations Nile!
