His nominators all agree that Anthony is a master of comedy writing, with the rare gift of being able to balance all of the elements of his shows with finesse. They also spoke of the positive atmosphere that he creates in his writers rooms, and his generosity and integrity. His commitment to inclusion was hailed by all as the gold standard. He makes a point to hire BIPOC writers and to mentor, tooboth in his writers rooms and in the showrunner bootcamp that he co-developed. He makes sure the writers on his staff are a part of the process from inception through production and seizes every chance to teach us that he can, said one nominator.
