Writers Talking TV: Pure, with Michael Amo

The WGC is pleased to announce that Michael Amo, showrunner of the critically acclaimed new six-part series Pure, is the featured guest at Writers Talking TV on Feb. 9. Pure, broadcast on CBC, is based on the true story of the so-called "Menno mob," Mennonites involved in the drug trade. Writers Talking TV is free and open to members of the public, but RSVP to reserve a spot.  

When: Feb. 9, 2017 at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30)

Where: TIFF Bell Lightbox, 350 King St. W., Toronto

What: On-stage interview with the creator of Pure, Michael Amo, episode screening, audience Q&A. Host: screenwriter Cal Coons.
