WGC Writers' Room at Kidscreen

The Writers Guild of Canada is pleased to host the WGC Writers' Room at Kidscreen 2018. Whether you want to work on an idea or are stuck in the later development stages of a show, the WGC Writers Room will connect you with some of the best Canadian screenwriters. The Writers’ Room is open to all, from producers to broadcast execs to, of course, showrunners. WGC members will help with a story element of your choice during a writers’ room session. For more information about the WGC Writers' Room, see below. To book a session, or if you have any questions, email Aaron Unrau  a.unrau@wgc.ca.

When it comes to kids programming, Canada has a celebrated history of success. Much of it is based on Canadians' ability to create and write animated series that are compelling to kids around the world.

Producers can find Canadian kids' show screenwriters in the WGC directory, which lists contact and credit information for members who've chosen to have an entry displayed. If you're a producer you can register (subject to WGC approval) for access to the directory here.
